Mike Fletcher is a saxophonist and composer from Birmingham, England who works primarily in the genres of jazz and improvised music. Since graduating from the Birmingham Conservatoire in 2005 he has performed widely as both a leader of his own ensembles and as a sideman.

He is also a member of the collaborative group Fletcher/Brice/Jozwiak, releasing their first album “Nick of Time” on Slam Productions in spring 2014.

As a sideman and collaborator he has worked with many of the leading names in contemporary jazz, including: Andrew D’Angelo, Dan Weiss, Sir John Dankworth and Bobby Previte. He is a member of Paul Dunmall’s Sextet, Tony Bianco’s Utoma Quartet and a current member of the European Jazz Orchestra, touring to numerous countries in 2013/2014.
